How I Started Paper Making
I started making handmade papers in February 2001. I first started out making handmade cards with rubber stamps. I found that you could incorporate handmade papers into card making. After investing the paper making process I set up shop in my basement and began making paper. The first batches of paper I made turned out more like cardboard. After attending a paper making class taught by Arnold Grummer, my technique improved. Paper making has become a greatly enjoyed hobby of mine. |

Other Hobbies
Rubber stamping is also a new hobby of mine. I take great pleasure in sitting down and in a few minutes having a completed piece of art. Getting together with friends and making cards is a great past time. When the weather warms, I spend more time outside with my other hobby - gardening. The flowers in my garden give me a great source of botanicals to put into my handmade papers.
